Chinese counselling

If you would feel more comfortable discussing emotions, relationships, family or life stress in Cantonese, Mandarin or English, our RCC, RSW and CCC team can help you find a counsellor based on your language, concerns and individual needs.

When might counselling help?

You do not have to wait until things feel unmanageable

Counselling is not only for a crisis. It can help you understand emotions, process experiences, and build healthier patterns in daily life and relationships.

01

Anxiety, mood and stress

Overthinking, persistent tension, low mood, difficulty relaxing, workplace stress or burnout.

02

Trauma, immigration and identity

Past experiences that continue to affect you, cultural adjustment, loneliness, identity and belonging.

03

Relationships, family and parenting

Couple conflict, family-of-origin concerns, boundaries, parental expectations and changing family roles.

Cantonese & Mandarin counselling

Speak about what matters in the language that feels natural

Some emotions, family experiences and cultural expectations can be difficult to express fully in English. Pegasus has counsellors who provide services in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, so you do not need to translate your experience before talking about it.

Counselling may explore Asian family dynamics, parental expectations, intergenerational relationships, family responsibility, personal boundaries, intimate relationships, immigration, identity and intergenerational trauma.
